GAELIC MASS

The church that my husband and I have been going to has a Gaelic Mass every year(usually the Sunday before St. Patrick's Day, they changed it this year), and we went to it last evening. It was wonderful! The readings were done in Gaelic and then in English. (The Gospel Reading itself was not done in Gaelic as the priest does not know Gaelic that well.) The Lord's prayer was even done in Gaelic. It was beautiful!

We have been wanting to go to this Mass for a couple of years now and never got to, but we finally did last night. The church has been doing this for 18 years they said.

What is your faith, may I ask?
My reason is that it sounds like by your post that you are
Catholic, but you say you are a born again Christian.
Just wondering:)

Good question, Nikki.

I was raised in the Catholic church. My husband and I have been going to a Catholic church because he wants to join the Catholic church against my objections. I have been going with him.

I believe "church" Gaelic has a lot of vocabulary which is not used in "everyday" Gaelic.

Saved Sinner,

You could be right, I don't know!
